Lou was a lost soul in the 2nd novel, taking backwards steps rather than forward steps, but in the 3rd novel, she FINALLY starts to take leaps and bounds forwards into her future.Īfter dealing with depression, love, loss, grief, confusion, haze, Lou is finally jetsetting off for an adventure into the big wide world – heading straight to New York City, to work for a family, in a companion role (yes, the irony).
